We design, supply and install fire-rated screens in steel, aluminium, timber and frameless formats, working from the rating and positions on your fire strategy. Every screen is built within the limits of its test or assessment evidence: pane sizes, transom and mullion spacing, glass type and the way it is fixed to the surrounding structure.
Test evidence covers the screen's connection to specific supporting constructions, such as masonry, concrete or a tested partition. Fixing into a lightweight wall that is not covered can undermine the rating, so we check the substrate first.
A door in a glazed screen has to be tested in that configuration or covered by a doorset certificate and an assessment for the screen. We specify the door and screen as one system rather than mixing products.
Fire glass can be combined with acoustic or security performance in many systems. We confirm the combined build-up is covered before pricing it.
In Northern Ireland, building work follows the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012, with fire safety guidance in Technical Booklet E, approved by the district council's building control.
Once in use, the Fire and Rescue Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 and the Fire Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 require the appropriate person to maintain fire safety measures, including fire-resisting glazing.
Technical Booklet E sets its own provisions for glazing on escape routes, so designs are checked against the Northern Ireland guidance rather than English documents.
Our County Antrim coverage takes in Lisburn (BT27) and the neighbouring towns of Belfast, Newtownabbey, Newtownards. Lisburn lies roughly 11 km from Belfast, within our County Antrim coverage.
After survey you get a fixed written quote for the agreed scope, so Lisburn budgets are not open-ended.
Every quote in Lisburn identifies the tested system: frame, glass, beads, seals and fixings, within its pane-size limits.
If an existing frame in a Lisburn building has no traceable evidence, we say so and price the options rather than guess.
We can survey and quote for blocks of flats, schools and colleges and other building types in Lisburn.
Small screens are often fitted in a day once manufactured. Larger runs depend on site access and phasing; we agree a programme with you when we quote.

We can give a guide range from photos and sizes, including a clear photo of any marks on the glass. A fixed price follows a survey.
