Who we are

This website is operated for Fire Glazing, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company no. 16932889). The data controller for personal data collected through this website is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company no. 16703925), Unit 1 Hems Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, which is the controller for websites operated across the S&K Group. Enquiries are passed to the group company that will quote for and carry out the work, which then also handles your data as a controller for that purpose.

What we collect

Details you send through our forms: name, phone, email, postcode, the service you are interested in and any message.
Live chat messages and the details you enter in the chat window.
WhatsApp messages if you choose to contact us that way.
If you accept analytics cookies, pseudonymous usage data from Google Analytics (such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location), with IP addresses truncated.

How we use it and our lawful basis

Forms, live chat and WhatsApp messages: to respond to your enquiry, arrange surveys, prepare quotes and carry out work you ask for. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Analytics: to understand how the site is used. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Records of work: to meet legal, warranty and building safety obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered by Web3Forms; live chat is provided by Tawk.to; WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta); analytics, if accepted, is provided by Google. The site is hosted by Netlify, and images are served through Netlify's image service. Enquiries may be shared with the specialist installers who carry out work for us, only as needed to survey and quote.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations (such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, as offered by each provider.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to work carried out are kept for as long as needed for warranty, legal and building safety purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in a portable format; you can object to processing based on legitimate interests; and where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.
