What's involved with fire-rated glass partitions in Evesham
Fire-rated glass partitions are office-style glazed walls that are also tested to resist fire, used where a meeting room, corridor wall or reception wall forms part of a protected route or compartment. They look like standard office partitions but use rated frames, glass and seals throughout.
- Rated glazed doors and door frames
- Manifestation to the impact and visibility rules
- Fire-rated partition systems for office fit-outs
- Perimeter and ceiling-void fire-stopping

Key checks for Evesham projects
Matching non-rated walls
Non-rated partitions on the same floor can be matched in profile and finish.
Acoustic privacy
Meeting rooms often need acoustic performance too. Some fire partition systems are tested for both; we confirm the combination.
Dilapidations and moves
Demountable systems can be reconfigured, but moving a rated partition means rechecking its evidence and fire-stopping in the new position.

Fire glazing rules in England
England Which rules apply?
Building work in England is covered by the Building Regulations 2010, with fire safety guidance in Approved Document B and impact safety guidance for glazing in Approved Document K.
Once a building is in use, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person to maintain fire safety measures, including fire-resisting glazing. The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 add duties for multi-occupied residential buildings, including fire door checks in buildings over 11 metres.
In higher-risk buildings, broadly 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes, the Building Safety Regulator is the building control authority. England is also phasing out BS 476 references from Approved Document B, with the remaining fire-resistance references due to go in September 2029.

Can you work with our fit-out contractor?
Yes. We can supply and install the rated glazing package within a wider fit-out, working to your programme.
Will a fire-rated partition look different?
Frames may be slightly deeper and glass slightly thicker, but most systems are hard to tell apart from standard partitions.
How quickly can you survey in Evesham?
Survey timing in Evesham depends on access, the size of the building and how urgent the defect is. Tell us your deadline when you enquire and we will confirm a date before you commit.
Can you price fire-rated glass partitions in Evesham from photos?
We can give a guide range from photos and sizes, including a clear photo of any marks on the glass. A fixed price follows a survey.
